Parts problems..

It's a long time since I've had to have welding done on anything.
Depends on how long you keep them, my last one was 22 years old and 314.000 miles on it, got £600 for it and when I bought it at 7 years old it cost me £10.

Looks like we might have made the right decision after our 04 VW Touran had to go. We had a choice between an 08 Citroen C4 Picasso and an 09 Nissan Qashqai. We went for the Qashqai because someone who has the same model told us it has a Renault engine and almost all the parts that are likely to need replacement can be found on either Europarts or eBay for not a lot of money compared to what it cost us for the last Citroen we had.

Problem is they are a poor build and well known for problems, but if the price was right then you are ok.

I've had two Renault master vans both POS, and a Movano ditto on the POS, Liz wanted to get a Dacia last year, but although the auto was okay they didn't do it in a dual fuel so we passed and kept the Fiesta, we do still need to get another car but are struggling to find one we can afford, is not too old and is economical to run the Fiesta has never dropped below 55.4mpg even if around town for months on end.
