i shall discuss this further with said solicitor. there seems to be a feeling that councils as well as private companies are bending or bypassing the law and this behaviour isn't being tested
Just received second letter. As I didn't pay within 14 days I am now due them £100. If I don't pay this within 14 days debt recovery proceedings will be initiated and I will also be responsible for those costs. Watch this space
