Paint touch up on bonnet or replacement?

As said, firms like Chips away will sort that out at your door. There are a few similar firms that will be local to you and might be cheaper.

Mine is going in for a touchup but I have to use a proper company as it is the area above the Cab and will need a staging to work off.

I like the idea of them coming here. Its always a PIA dropping vehicles off as we are miles away from anywhere. I might just drop a post in on the Darlo, Richmond, or Barnard Castle Facebook groups. A lot of these back street places dont seem to advertise much online so a local recommendation is maybe the best bet. I bet you like that Union Flag idea for your van but I bet you wont dare go over the water with it. Everyone knows you are too scared to go to France as you are wanted there for abusiveness to French people. o_O

Have a word with body shop , remove the bonnet take it in for painting much easier to paint off the van no storage problem's for garage ,white is easy colour to match 3 to 4 hours labour + paint ,cash job ??? The bonnet problem is bad preparation comman on older vans ., door is rust that will get worse

Union Jack🤔😂
I have suggested the 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 and the St George’s cross 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 on account of being a mixed race household but answer came there none. In my experience a quiet Jock is often at the most dangerous state. Bit like when the fuse stops ticking on old films like Danger USB. 🤣

Paint cannot be matched on the hood when its of, esp white as there is about a million shades, take it off and get it done satin black by a back street garage, if here i would do it for £75 including all two pack paints and time.

If you know the paint code then just get some touch up paint off Ebay for less than a tenner.

One sure thing is, DONT use rattly cans/touch ups as they make a complete ball cox and make any proper paint job twice as hard.

VWs have what they call bonnet bras, which is like a leather/plastic cover strapped over the bonnet to protect it,
Do they make them for your vehicle, or perhaps you maybe able to adapt a VW one?

I've done a few nice jobs with rattlecans over the years, everything from motorcycles to log burners. A good canjob can be achieved if you take care....

Its acrylic paint and not two pack which cars are painted with, ex new one which are water bassed colour finished with 2 pack top coat.
Rattle can paint reacts with proper paint and thats why paint shops hate to get cars in with it on them as they cannot blend but must strip the whole panel back.

I like that except for im sure the cost of getting it done, many here are done by wrapping, esp biz vans/cars, may get my t gait done for my biz.
