I received this by email earlier today:

Book your winter crossing with us and you’ll get £15 cashback* on your fuel! This way you’ll have more money to spend on the things you love the most while you’re away.

And that’s not all, you can travel all the way up until 8th January 2018, so whether you are planning a holiday over Christmas or just want to spend a few days relaxing this winter, the choice is yours!

All you need to do is book your crossing by 8th October, using promo code FREEFUEL and we'll be in touch after you make your booking with all the details to get your money back.

Thanks for that Chris might have used it when I found price for ⛴ was £90 for next week - opted to pay a little more and use Tunnel for first time. But that offer would have made it more palatable.

Thanks for the heads up Chris

We sailed back ( Calais to Dover ) at 09.50 tuesday 17th Oct and i got £60 one way for a 7.5m motorhome, 2 adults, 0 pets, i also put the code in which it accepted.

Yesterday ( 18th Oct ) i got the email with the link to attach a scan of my fuel receipt which i did but it will only accept it as a jpeg.

I`m now waiting for the next email to see what happens next.

At the price there charging to get from belfast to mainland they would be better offering a free defibralator.

If you think that crossing is bad you should try the Holyhead ferry, I used it a few months back and thought I must be paying to buy shares in the damned ferry

The ferry cost is the main reason we haven`t been to Ireland yet :scared:

We live less than an hour from Liverpool and i can`t seem to find a crossing for less than approx £250 each way for our sized motorhome :rolleyes2:

This is why we haven't taken the motorhome to Ireland. the crossings I have done are always work related so the costs are passed on to the customer, the last time I went over I did think about going in the motorhome and making it into a mini break but with the extra cost on the ferry plus the extra fuel costs it just wouldn't have been worth it

i'm irish by birth only time i've taken motorhome over was with tesco vouchers both ways , tesco's had an irish CEO vouchers worked on all three irish lines but only on tunnel to france ??

We can do a return trip to Europe cheaper than just one way on the ferry to Ireland from Liverpool :rolleyes2:

That`s including the cost of the fuel to Dover and back from Preston and the return trip on the ferry :scared:

Overnight truck ferry to newry £100 no dogs or kids.

Yes the irish ferry service is a complete rip of,its about time someone looked into this racket.:mad2:

Hi, last year we used Truckferry from Haysham to Dublin for our 6 week holiday, August into September, £100-00 out and £90-00 return including meals and cabin, we were realy pleased with the service, the only thing is that it is a 8 hour crossing, but if you treat as part of your holiday, the outward journey is at night time and you are in bed so no problem, the return was during the day but the lounge is great and there is unlimited tea or coffee and snacks if you want them.
Our next trip to Ireland will be with them again and to hell with P&O and Irish Ferries and thier fancy prices, the money we saved by using Truckferry more than paid for all our fuel for the holiday.:banana:
If you use Tesco vouchers beware of P&O as they put a surcharge on the price for using the vouchers, last time i checked it was £25-00.:scared:
Happy travels
Ken
