overnight stopover

:)hi, can anyone tell me how i can put my pub car park on to various over night stopover listings , i have a carpark that measures 100m x 130m and we are situated just of the a1 north of newcastle . ideal for the scotish trips . regards kevin

and your county
and post your site there
im sure your car-park will be full of campervans
before you can say free beer! :eek:

hi kevinbird7 may i just welcome you to this site, i think that the members on this site will take note of your kind offer of an overnight stay at your pub. we all like a pint or three and a bit of food ,we need more members like you to join, or at least let us know we are welcome to stayfor the night. it is nice to call have a drink and a talk, a lot of our members are away this weekend at an informal meet but when they get back i am shure they will be in touch with you .

we are all like a big family on here:D we all get on with each other 99.9% of the time:eek: the best thing is we all have our own oppinions and that is accepted, it is the best site around please enjoy.:D
 
pub carparks

the Whistlefield pub/hotel on the Cowal peninsula also welcomes overnight stays of campervans. they also have good beer and live music. i haven,t tried it but hope to in the next month and will post the site if it meets our rigorous standards. ie that there is an even surface to park on
 
if the car park aint even, one good way to make it feel even is to have an extra pint:D:D

How about a pic of the pub and parking area ( I will sort this out for you if you like).

Why not an 'aire' ?

Hi Kevin,
Thanks again. I think many members of this site are most welcoming your kind offer for overnighting. I'm shure many of us MH-ers, British or foreign, on their way to Scotland, will be happy with a 'landing' on your pub. :D
The UK is really 'underdeveloped' about MH-stopovers. :confused:
On the continent are 1000-nsd of 'aires' in France,Germany, Italy... In the UK
only 2 (two): Canterbury and Tomintoul (Scotland). :rolleyes:
Maybe you found what we call in Dutch 'een gat in de markt' (a hole in the market ??).;)
Maybe it could be a profitable idea of constructing the 3rd 'aire' in the UK ?
Just giving an idea. ?

Welcome Kevin, Do realise just how popular you will be with us lot. There will be an impromptu beer/motorhome fest organized in no time. By the way can you get planning permission for a bigger car park. regards Rick.

sorry about the size of the car park ,will try and move the cotage at the bottom , sure they wont mind:D:D

Now I see why you need such a large car park:eek::D
