Our Adria Coral 680SL for sale on Ebay.

It's wonderful what they come up with in auctions. When I was buying and selling vans, I tried it that way, but too much BS, that's why I started doing Classifieds, cheaper too. I'd set a price a couple of K more than I wanted, but allow offers.

Of course he is. That is why we set up an auction house!

Yeah, and I would be mentally disabled to fall for that one mate
So you accepted the offer ?

Someone is coming to view today, I just hope he isn't like the idiots and chancers who have offered £5k and £7k and asked "Wot but now m8"?, which I think translates to What's the buy it now mate?
I still like auctions though, despite the above.
I sold my previous car last year. It was an old one worth about £2.5k to £3.5k but it needed a £500 repair and I wanted it gone, so I put it on sale for £1,500. Classified on eBay, not auction.

It is a rare and sought-after model, so the phone rang off the hook. People were eager to drive 150 miles to.look at it, and in the end the first person to see it bought it.

Bit of a pity really because numbers 2 and 3 on the list sounded like they needed thst model of car in particular.

But there must have been a dozen callers who started the call by asking me my 'best price' (they weren’t pleased to be told £35k) or asking how much I was willing to drop the price. With all of those I told them I was already selling it at half its worth and I didn't tell them the address.
