Some lovely touches in some of the vans like the jam pan sink and copper panelling, even the old penny covering the usb socket, brilliant.

I have to admit my favourite build is this one at the moment, + plus the filming itself is also first class unlike my own rather naf efforts!

To white,no room to walk around, tiles heavy same with wood roof, silly we battery light in washroom, but a clean well done job

Some nice stuff in there, really liked the tilley lamp, not sure what the pullouts under the bed are about.

I would like to see the weighbridge certificate, looks a heavy build to me.

See the build here

I blame Phil. There I was reading a thread on another forum and bingo! I find myself having a look at the self build website and editing a bad link to a video on one of my old posts!

:) :) :)

First time teleporting? Beam me up Phil

Just shows that there’s no RIGHT way to have your van, it’s not too my taste but the builders love it.
I once went into a Dutch guys van and the interior was completely orange 🍊 ever thing even the fridge door!

But your van Darren is the absolute dogs danglies and a tribute to your skills and both of your combine darned hard work, quite literally everything from the special side door you engineered to the amazing rear end retreatment, it is honestly an absolute gem. And just to think so many of us believe we have done well doing a simple conversion of a panel van!!

Well thanks Phil, our van is spot on for us, I’v no plans to change anything really.
I love diy/self-build vans as they can be anything you want them to be.

I’m going to be starting a new build in the spring with a mate of mine, I think on a sprinter. He wants to ship it to the USA next winter, for a year long trip.
Looking forward to seeing how that goes.

If it is going to be a Sprinter, make sure he thoroughly clears all the rust he will almost certainly find before you start the build.

Keep well my friend.

Phil
