You may remember this series with Martin Dorey, when it was originally shown on BBC2,it is coming to Quest soon.
 
I enjoyed that series, but often wonder if the likes of Joe Bloggs could park up in some of the places that he did?

Would like to think we could.

i agree i liked watching the series but i got the impression that it was given a romantic view stroke vist the uk tourist information , the reality is we carnt or allowerd to do what this guy did for one reson or another. i could imagine the film makers having toggo to get permission from the councils etc to allow this to work

After a quick search online, I've found that the first and second episodes are on next Thursday (7th March) on Quest, at 9pm and 9.30pm, then each Thursday after that....

The DVD of the series is being released at the end of April.....

I think that the places where he "wildcamped" had been pre-arranged with the landowners permission. He even stayed on a campsite!! :scared:
