IM having problems with my omnistep electric step it seems to go in and out on its own and when i use the ignitor on my gas cooker it even sends the step in or out, it also seems to be linked to the outside light and accasionally the light will not go out, it also intimitingly refuses to work.

Errm, you do seem to have problems !!

Sorry I can't help, but would be interested to find out what the fault is / faults are when you get it sorted.

It sound like a priest to carry out an exorcism might be your best bet though!!

sounds like a loose connection as vibration send it in and out and would not think the ignitior is mains powered so that rules out feed back try standing in different place when you press igniter {please dont laugh} could be a loose connection/ wire under floor

You think you have problems. I have an Alde boiler which is possessed by evil spirits.

It works fine but if you listen carefully, it makes weird noises. Not in use but with all power switched off when parked on my drive. :scared:

my guess is the main control panel / fusebox. I just had mine apart and it controls all the stuff, i.e. step in/out blablabla.

Or worse, you have a short somewhere in wiring which could send the wrong triggers to the main controller and make it doolally.

Are you able to carry out some basic fault finding with a multimeter? Do you have any manuals for it?
