I paid £32 for ours a couple of years ago, the accessories were a lot cheaper as well then.
Do you use it much?I paid £32 for ours a couple of years ago, the accessories were a lot cheaper as well then.
Yes, I’ve seen them on Amazon - thought I’d ask here first as it seems like the kind of thing that might end up in the back of the cupboard!
Anyone got one gathering dust somewhere?
I have an original Beauclair oven similar to but larger than the Omnia you are welcome to foc. PM me for more information.Anyone got one gathering dust somewhere?
Helpful as ever, Rob, thanks!I haven't if that's any help Carol?
That’s what I was wondering though some people swear by them.I bought one of these or very similar many years ago when we started caravanning as I thought it would be useful in the van. It was a total waste of time, both my husband (who was a much better cook than me) tried it, both on the gas ring at home and in the caravan. It was useless, everything was either burnt or undercooked and it was a real pain to clean afterwards. I think I threw it out when we moved, 25 years ago.
Thanks Tezza. I don’t want to pay silly money and take up space if it’s not going to be used. I bought a Remoska years ago from the shop in Chekoslovia (?) and never used it. Dug it out a few days ago so experimenting with that - I’ve got a 1000w inverter so theoretically I think I could use it in the van - though I’d be pretty wary about it! Hope you’re both well xxYes Carol, we use it regularly in the van because we only have a hob but with the BBQ, Omnia and Remoska we can vary our meals, it cooks and bakes well but the price is surprising now, I bought the silicone mould and the rack as well and for all three it is £95 at today's prices so worth looking for a used one, if I see one for sale I will let you know

Hi Rob, dug mine out a few days ago and started using it - great for cooking for one - chicken and roast parsnips last night. Pity I never have hook up. Mentioned somewhere I do have a 1000w inverter but I’d be scared to use it. Hope you’re both well xThe Remoska's are brilliant Carol, we use ours all the time at home and plan to use it in the van as well.
