Oh NO: Engine Warning Light On

Diagnostic test says it's the NOX sensor. That's not affected by crystallisation is it? Or maybe it is???
And yes deleting is illegal. My concern on that front is that the "authorities" get wise to it (I'm told the practice is spreading, not least among taxi drivers) and put an extra hurdle into the MoT to detect deletions; a hurdle which currently isn't there. Then there'd be cost of undeleting, AND fixing the broken system. Plus a £2500 fine. Ho hum.

Hi RSD7a
Did the NOX sensor fix this? I have had a similar issue: the NOX sensor (the first one from the engine) was faulty. I have replaced that with a genuine sensor, but I'm still getting an engine warning light with intermittent 'check adblue system light'. It may be that the sensor is faulty, or I may have a bad connection or wiring problem. My question is, will the first NOX sensor cause the adblue warning message?

Yes, it fixed it. All done local independent garage so I'm afraid I can't answer questions about which nox sensor. Your question implies there's more than one. I didn't know that.
It's a v frustrating situation. Good luck. Hope others here can advise
