Used to be all part of going to the sea side when I was a kid,fish and chips,feed the gulls and get your shoes wet.

Come down here and if you have some inteligence you will know what is wrong with feeding seagulls.If you want to feed them then bugger off home and take them with you..Down here on the south coast seagull numbers multiply on mass as seagulls flock here from the scandinavia so further bulk up the numbers.They swoop on people having a sandwhich in the street and rob people of their meals,my wife sees it on a daily bassis they have lost their fear.They dont need feeding by the retarded they need to be controlled by the local do bugger all council.If you want one come down here and get one ,you can keep it as a pet,should keep you happy for 20 years,which is how old they live too.No offence to you or those who are mis informed intended!
I love the birds and spend a fortune every month on feeders e.t.c and feed the tits ,robins and blackbirds that make our garden so much more pleasing.
I love the birds and wildlife and do my best to feed the birds especially in the winter when they need it most.Its one of our homes reddeeming features i will miss most when we sell up and full time.But miss the filth and mess of the seagull i will not.Seagulls would be fine if 50 percent of their numbers were culled and made managable,however in truth they are a growing nuicance which spread filth and down here at any rate are becoming dangerous.

How can you say you love birds then in the next breath say you want to cull 50% of seagulls? As for me not taking offence, no I don't mind one bit being called retarded!

Come on down,come on down to Torbay and feed the seagulls till your hearts content,we have signs up that tell you please not to feed the gulls,they are there for a reason,yet we still have people feeding them,just before they bog off back to where they come from.Either these people cant read or yes,very likely retarded.Your very welcome to come and collect a few thousand of them keep them at your neck of the woods,the climate has changed and these birds breed more than they used to.
The eggs can be pricked and controlled in humane ways.Its people who cannot read these signs that are to blame for these birds being such a nuicance.During the war the eggs apparently made for a great ommelette,anyhow dave your welcome to collect the eggs just dont bloody feed them so if you are to blame,bring your glasses next time!
