Obtaining Water in France in Winter.

I could buy more than 75 of the 5 litre bottles of water with no trouble at all. I can't see us using that amount in two seasons or even more. We use the tank water for everything but drinking, of course.

Agreed....if it's there to buy and you don't have to travel miles to get it, and of course the whole idea would be to be able to use
your tank water for everything.

My own bottle is now over two years old...no problems because I don't actually drink out of it (saliva can introduce bacteria to
the secondary carbon filter in the neck) and I use the cleanest source water I can find (usually from a tap of some sort). If there
are water problems again this winter....I'm covered.
