Anybody a fan of the Noz stores in france?
For those who don't know, they are end of line/clearance specialists. Don't ask me what they sell because it could be anything that fits in a standard store! All at low prices.

NOZ - N° 1 du destockage en Europe

Big fan friends of ours moved over there about ten years ago we visited them at least once a year no visit went without a trip to Noz and emmahaus , one visit they had some chef knifes on end of line must be eight years ago bought two sets of 12 knifes still using them quality kit about the same bust bought some red wine numbered range found out why it was discounted it was shite

Aye, we used to pop in there every week or so when we lived in France.

You never knew what was going to turn up - I've seen lots of UK supermarket branded stuff on their shelves (or to be more precise - wooden boxes). Word quickly spread around the ex-pats when Noz had "British" foodstuffs available

BUT ! - make sure you check the contents (if at all possible) before you leave the store. You may find there are broken or missing parts.............. which is going to be inconvenient if you discover bits are missing after you've returned to the UK.

A question...

Spending time in France, might you know where I can buy heating oil, kerosene, in 20 litre volumes, in France?

Thanks very much

It should be widely available.

It's usually found in Supermarkets in 20L containers (Fioul Domestique), Bricos (DIY shops), Intermarche etc. Occasionally you'll see it available at the pump - refill your own containers.

Prix à la pompe Fioul domestique prix carrefour bidon 20l

I've never purchased it, so I have no idea if it is 28sec Kerosene. Some further research may be necessary to check if it is suitable for your appliance.

Virtually any 'Brico' store like Bricomarche, Mr Bricolage, Weldom etc etc. Not bought any but those that do say you must buy only the best quality one (as there are 2 or 3 grades on offer usually) as the others smell when burning.
