Not for me its only got a small 42" tv and I don't like where they put the sofa. I thought boating got expensive but how many gallons to the mile would it do.

there is already a caravan called a caraboat,iv seen it in my boating mags

I would want one just for the pleasure of taking it somewhere like the Mosel or Rhine and arrive late afternoon when the Germans have nicked all the best waterside spots. Then just barge in between them, into the water and drop anchor. You could really rub it in by painting the whole thing in Union Flag colours! :)

actually it could be a proper union jackflag in that circumstance .
mind you would have to keep out of the way of the big coal barges .

Red Ensign from the stern, m'boy! Optional Blue (defaced) if you are a member of the right club & hold the warrant (but only when you are aboard). You can also fly the Union Flag with a white border at the bow if you wish.

Hate to think what the Germans / French / English / Scottish / Welsh / Dutch / Spanish would think if you turned up with one of these.

This one is for sale .....

Could save you a fortune if you used it to hop back and forward to France / Holland

They only made 52 of them and they think 5 are still in use. Says it all really.

Anything like that for crossing the channel will need a professional skipper in an escort boat & permission from the Frogs (they are pretty strict about who goes in their territorial waters & on having the correct safety standards & documentation) You would need perfect weather too, which could take a while. and then you would need to hire a car to tow it.

Most English (& NI boats) seemed to be flying the red duster without problems when we were there, some chose the Irish tricolour instead, but I don't think there have been many attacks since the Mountbatten idiocy that killed an innocent local lad.
