You are just a Southern Softie, if someone wants Scotland its pointless offering Portugal lolReading all the above, reminds me as to why I drive south into Portugal in February. Smug smile,, and yes, I admit to being a wimp

Don't shower!Hey Guys,
Yep, Have to say come the Frosts Some Fresh water tap outlets tend to be turned off as a preventative measure against them freezing.
So taking the opportunity to fill up with ‘SMALL’ amounts via a Bottle at Cafes, Marinas, Selected Toilets & alike can be beneficial to make your tanked water supply last longer.
On bigger fill ups Phone Campsites & Marinas & ask if they do a Service Visit (Black, Grey, Recyclable & General Waste disposal & Water Top up for a fee of between £5-£8 is often available).
I’ve not had any problems to date.
Mmm - England and all over the world has many Scots, maybe escaping the cold?Southern softie?
And your point is?
Yeabut this is a "Wildcamping" forum innit wot's all this stuff about campsites, what are they?I’ve used this site many times during winter over the last 10 years. Shop on site, pub across the road from the campsite which serves excellent food, same owners as campsite.

Well wave if we see youI agree, Scotland is a must in Winter and this January was the first time I really had problems. If I had anticipated it a bit better I could have managed anyway but kept going from one frozen spot to another because I wanted the isolation lol.
Should be heading back up between Christmas and New Year all being well

Washing machine???!!!Hi ya,
Yes, But only around Twice a week on board, OR if I wanted occasional Luxuries £5 at Sports Centres or Gyms & a Night on a Campsite every 14-18 Days works for me.
I tend to Wash in the Morning & Nights. I only use my Washing Machine in the Late Spring, Summer & Early Autumn Months, Rest of the time Using Revalution Machines to do Washing ESPECIALLY Bedding Changes & throughout winter months.
Yep, it’s a small (Not a camping type) Washer/Spinner works a treatWashing machine???!!!
