I would'nt wish a Yorkshire upbringing on anyone, not when they can come up here to Gods little acre.

Me Whippets start shaking with fear at Scotch Corner when I head South and don't stop until we clear Yorkshire.

...A comment like that from a geordie!! Who the hell can ever understand what the F--K are they saying??
If you dont like Yorkshire that much, go around, take the A69 towards Carlisle, south down the M6 and on towards where ever you are going
or
Gan Alang the 69 like, doon the m6, and hadaway and sh!te to where ya gannin, like

Noo divvent ye fash yasel hinny.

AND.....I am NOT a Geordie! Born and bred in County Durham. I am a PROPER Durham Lad because I worked underground in the Durham coalfield (oldest coalfield in Britain, started by Monks). If you do not believe me ask Dezi, he was one of them but they chucked him out of the Order because he had a dirty habit. :lol-061:

I wouldn't bother sending them down this way after all the rain we've had this week. Apparently, Phil's Interwebby mates 'migrated' all the 'clouds' over here and (following the Monsoon Season), a Windemere Lake Cruise now takes in the Attols of Keswick, the Canals of Cleator Moor and culminates in a trip up the newly-discovered Southern Passage into Coniston Water!!
