Having just spent the last few weeks touring Scotland up to the Orkneys and back, wilding and using the odd sites, Ive noticed a lot of new NO OVERNIGHT PARKING SIGNS. In the old days they put these signs at waist level, and people, quite rightly in my mind, tore them down. Now theyve started putting new ones in, on poles about 10 feet of the ground. This wasnt in just one area, these poles are from Caithness to Argyll, so it must be a national thing rather than a local byelaw.
I just wondered if any of our Scottish members could throw some light on the subject.......Bob
