This article from our local community magazine. A shame, as there was a lot of support in the village for the project.

What a shame as the trade people bring to these dying wee villages must benefit the community.
 
Definitely not a good decision for both us and the community, but the flooding estimation is a real problem that we will all suffer from, and at least this has been identified before spending all that money the Council had been able gather for the Aire.
 
It would be nice to have an aire there but there doesn't seem to be any reason we can't still go there anyway.
