Nice little Wingham mini motorhome

I can't believe the prices of some of these little vans. Even camper vans can be £70k+. Most important thing to me is enough payload to take the scooter and rear lounge layout and loads of space. I don't care if it falls to bits on the inside or doesn't have all the mod cons, marble worktops, microwave etc etc. In fact, the flimsier the better. Weighs less.

This would be the model we would have to go for as it looks like the only one with twin beds, but not impressed with the kitchen, two burners WTF, storage isn't that good at all really if you discount the garage, and there is nowhere to lounge unless you do it on the beds but then there wouldn't be a view from the windows.

Do you have consultancy contract with campervan builders?
Flimsy is what you get

Not sure they were ever selling them . Asked three times for more info and price . Never happened .
Ah OK, I thought for sale. They had two different model types in the back shop, we got a nosy in both. Cracking build quality, I can't remember which base vehicle.

They are lovely. The VW Transporter based one is very nice and a nice grey colour not white. That one is nice but very expensive for a fiat based van.
Aye that the business name, Cale. They closed the doors ages ago, Roseisle at Whitecraig, are gone too.

The guy told me they were for sale . But then played hard to get . Unusual salesmanship .

Yes I was sure they were for sale too, some models sat outside for view by passing vehicles. Most, if not all hire companies eventually sell off hire vehicles to the public.

The guy started converting T5s then decided to go down the rental route. Maybe he had a Wingamm franchise? The Wingamms were VW T5 based.

Nice looking van if you really need a motorhome that short. I would go for something longer as prefer the extra room over the extra benefit of compactness.
Usually people spend a lot longer stationary and in the van than they do driving it so internal space is important and if I was buying with that sort of budget it would not be for a tiny motorhome.
Personally I don't drive places which look too tricky and narrow (and would be even less inclined to do so in a vehicle that costs >£100,000!) so tight turning circles would not be a primary concern.

I love the bed design, but the rest is very nice but all too compressed for me.

Has no one told him you cannot carry a scooter inside a van?

2 burners is ok...that's all we have inside...
Got 3 outside on a fixed barbie though....
I find the strange thing in the uk/europe is some builders dont put in enough windows.....

In all honesty, can you see an arthritic pensioner being able to clamber up into that bed................ and what about the mid sleep leak............ no not for me!
Nearly bought the exsis years ago but.....
The climb to a bed with no headroom was not for me..
Loved everything else about it except poor storage.
