New van

Thanks for the update, I really like the layout of these and it's good to know that you are getting on well with it.

I do like your van, we were looking at buying one when we found a UK RHD Possl 2WIN Fiat 120, 2009 model locally at less than half the price of a new one (As yet not seen another) Though there are a few LHD imports around. Now had it for 3 months and love it. It is identical to Globecar Globescout. Very good sound build quality with very comfortable bed and so much storage space available. Excellent spacious washroom and brilliant shower. Wife bought a mattress topper for it, and now its even more comfortable. Had a tow bar fitted with 50mm spacer to enable rear doors to be open to turn on gas when Thule bike rack fitted.
Did our fist wildcamp last week in the car park in Llanasa (Prestatyn) opp Red Lion Pub. Intend to use throughout the winter in UK
then big trip to Europe next year.

Thank you possl, yours sounds a great van at a very good price, I hope you get loads of pleasure and happy travels with your Possl ( Globecar )

Great looking van. How comfy is the bed? I'm impressed by the amount of gas you can carry. That's my main grouch with our PVC.

Lesley

Hi Lesley, our bed is very comfortable indeed, it's extremely big and advertised as the biggest bed in a pvc.
Our gas locker is large and the twin 11kg Gaslow fitted in the locker very easily.

Globecar & Possl owners, have you visited this site ?

Pösslforum - Das Forum für alle Freunde der Pössl und Globecar Mobile und natürlich für alle Camping Begeisterte. - Index - Pösslforum

With the help of Google translate, there are some interesting topics.

Ed

I check in with this forum weekly, and find it very useful, google translate helps but sometimes it can be a struggle to decipher things if it is a technical issue. Globecar used to have a hosted site, but it recently changed to Facebook for economical reasons and sadly there has been less of a following; the original site was wealth of information and ideas.

Here’s an update with our Campscout I’ve had it uprated to 4100 kg and had EPS hydraulic levellers fitted this week.
Now done Nearly 6000 miles in it since April last year and planning another trip to Benidorm in February.

John.
