I have a new LG TV 230v which was powered by a very cheap ciggy plug in inverter when off grid, however I have now upgraded the OE equipment with a 300ah Li battery and Renogy 3kw inverter. This works fine and tested to 2.5kw without issues on heating/cooking appliances
So plugged in the TV and can't get it to turn on with the remote, pressing actual button on TV and on it comes BUT the R/C wont work or do anything. Plug TV in grid mains or cheapo inverter and works perfectly
.
I'm assuming its RFI or similar from the inverter, however even if I keep the inverter powered on but power the TV by another source it doesn't have a R/C problem, so the interference must be transmitted into the TV by the inverter supply ??
I have bought and waiting delivery of a Power Filter for Interference Attenuation in Electrical Appliances.
Any thoughts please our Electronic buddies out there ? @merl @wildebus et al

PS Just thought I must earth the inverter, maybe
