Having had my van for three years, last year I finally got round to making new curtains and changing some for blinds. It took quite a while to figure out and to find the right "retro" fabric but I am pretty pleased with the result.
I have lined the blinds with blackout, and most importantly have lined the curtains with dark blue. So, when the curtains are drawn, from the outside it looks more like a blue van. If you see what I mean, perhaps making an overnight stay a little less obvious?. The previous curtains had cream linings??
I have seen on this site lots of clever chaps posting on how to do solar panels, heating pumps and the like, and I just wanted to add my expertise!
