Need cheering up!

hi rachel take alook around and see how lucky you really are and put life into perspective.i could write a book on my life lol i had my own business and aged 45 after years of working 100hrs +i can now take life easy providing i sensible, felt like you have too not all been roses, i built own camper and get out as much as possible (new missus wants her house and garden done lol)so dream as if you'll live forever and live as though you'll die today!!! before anyone calls me morbid lol really think about it!!!!:)
 
I'm retiring in just over 8 weeks at age 65. I came across a 'thought for the day' online a couple of weeks ago and intend to follow it to the letter:

Life's journey is not to arrive at the grave safely in a well preserved body,
but rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting..."holy ****..what a ride!"

Update!!!

Hi Folks,

Hope your all well, not been on for ages as have working really hard at my new business!

Well on the 17th December 2009 I worked my last day as a supply chain planner at the company that made me so unhappy:D:D

I now have my own cleaning business that is doing well, maybe not much money at the moment (just about paying the bills!) but I feel richer in every other way! I am very happy and my quality of life has blossemed:)

I am no longer stressed and emotionally drained, I have more time to ride my horse and walk with the dog and generally feel much happier and healthier (I have even lost some weight!! yipee!)and my relationship is better than ever:D

Hope 2010 will be a better year for us all :D

And I'm back working full time myself, things do get better after all.

P.S. My van could do wie a quick once over as well, get yersel up to the Scottish Borders meet next weekend and we could maybe get Matchless to put in an appearance as well, he may have ulterior motives though.;)

Great fun and a business opportunity in one.:eek: Ooops, not that kind.
