Had what I thought was a slow puncture on near side rear so called in for the fitters to have a look Wednesday. After removing the wheel they found the aluminium wheel had cracked. The fitter advised there was a place nearby who repairs aluminium wheels and removed the tyre for me so I could give the welders just the rim. They then fitted my spare wheel and gave me directions where to go. When asking about payment I was told no charge but come back when wheel was repaired.
Picked my repaired wheel up Thursday morning then back to National. The same fitter took the rim and tyre and fitted together asking what pressure I wanted. Ali wheel refitted to van and spare stowed away. I asked about payment and was again told no charge. Couldn’t believe it in this day and age and had to force a twenty on him to get a beer.
Highly recommended if you have tyre problems in this area of Scotland
