Naming your Van

:p That's up to you. It's a personal thing, and I don't think anyone minds either way :)

I just could not make my mind up whether I liked it or not. My friend used to call her car Boris and I thought it was a little strange, but for some reason it seems different with a camper.
 
If you can't think of a name "The Van" works pretty well. Short and descriptive ;)

Women are good at thinking up more romantic names, but that never stopped the guys getting in on the act either :D
 
OUrs was called the 'Battle Bus' when we got it. It didn't quite seem personal enough for him so he has been renamed the 'Battle Beast; or 'Beastie' for short. Some people think it's unlucky to change a name but I think naming in the first place helps form a bond.
 
"form a bond" I love it - making me feel like i have given birth :)

Ill keep you updated if i think of a good name.
 
Our very old VW LT 28 was called Wilma taken from the Flintstones

We have just got another MH and she will also be called Wilma, seems to fit.

We always refer to it as " the BUS" something we have always stuck with :)

my kids named our camper after watching some film ... the rolling turd , i call it the bus...
 
I think i am going to name him Gonzo The Great.

Mines called Gwilly :p but I call it **** ****** **** when it messes me about haha!! I say its a must!:)
 
Ours is called minnie from the MHN in the reg number, and yes, we do have the name on the front and back.

Not my fault :eek:, the wife made me do it!!! :eek:

That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it. :D:D

I like that film - RV with Robin Williams.

Mines called Cletus, and the car's called Brandine. How many on here know where those names come from?
 
In chronological order: Van, Red van, Blue van, Van, though the last one had the working title of 'Mastodon' in the research phase. To prevent confusion, the first one is now known as 'Midi' 'cos it was one. Simples.
