my first trip in a motorhome

We already have an itinerary of Edinburgh - Dundee - Aberdeen - Inverness, Isles of Skye being the most extreme point where the Skye Museum of Island Life is located.

We will pick up the motorhome on the 6th of September

Don't know how long you're intending on your trip but be aware that the Museum of Island Life closes late September for the winter

I would also highly recommend search for sites. All of the CAMPRA approved sites are on there I think.
As far as Skye is concerned, there is one about 5 miles before you get to the bridge, here
We were in Skye a couple of weeks ago, now we've done it we wont be back, too crowded! There are many better places to go , especially on the west coast.
