Hi everyone well my first thread and it requires help.I have found what i think could be a good POI what do i do to post it? I cant find the longitude and latitude reference for it.If you go to google maps and type wellow dam, wellow, newark and sherwood then zoom in on satellite or google earth you will see a small dirt car park.It may well have been posted before (hope not :( ) dont see why it couldnt be used for a one night stop over.

Well it doesn't seem to be on the POI's, nice find camperdoodles, there is a barrier on the other road, but the little car park looks good, well done you, Chris should pick this one up, he homes in like a pigeon when he sees new spots posted, amazing :lol-053:

Glad it could be a new spot for folk to use it has the added benefit of a place to fish as well :) will post the co-ordinates up on the updates forumy bit :) thanks for the help and info.

It has some decent Carp in it as well as the usual course fish.

A simple way to find the co-ordinates and post a direct link on here is.....

On Google Maps, right-click on the actual parking spot, then select "What's Here?" from the menu that appears.

The co-ordinates will then be displayed in the box above the map.

If you then "copy and paste" the url address from the top of that page (it will begin with "https://maps.google.com") into your comment on here, a direct link will be added to your post which others can simply click on to view the location.

(Before clicking on "Submit Reply" to post your comment, it's always worth clicking "Preview Post" to make sure you've got it right, and try out the link!)

You can practice this as many times as you like without actually submitting your comment on here. :)
