Music Meet in Spain?

After reading the post regards a music meet in UK what about a music meet in Spain? sometime?
I would love to join the UK one, but it is not possible, as I live in Spain (Murcia region) I play / Sing mainly rhythm guitar Elect/ Acoustic 60's/70's, folk, country etc (normally for my own entertainment but have attended many open mic nights and done the odd friends birthday party) and would love to partake in some music gathering in the area ?
Anyone else out there with same ideas ? is it a possibility or a non starter? are there any rallies in my area where such an event could be held? being new to these forums i am not fully aware of all that goes on yet.
Which reminds me i must find storage for 1 or 2 of my Guitars on my newly aquired Sea Sloop (Adria Twin)

Put your idea on meets and gatherings and see what the reaction is, Could be a runner in the summer.

At Silves in Portugal where lots Wild Camp, there is a bar that has an open mike night where anyone can just turn up and play an instrument sing or whatever we have had some great nights in there ,good food available cheaply and of course lots of Beer and Wine too,must be places like that in Spain and in fact at Torre del Mar that also used to happen at Camping Laguna Playa in the Camp site Bar.
 
Thanks for the response, I posted in case there were any events already up and running, so i could join in.
i will look at Silves in Portugal though as I go to Alvor next year for a few weeks.
 
I think there going to move the motorhomes from the big car park in Silves to behind the pool they were talking about this in the summer when i was show some plands about it i will give my mate a call to see if they got the plans though:wave:

Any where to park in Silves officially would be good, I think they should make the parking official and charge a few Euros for it, I have counted over 50 vans parked at the swimming pool area in the recent past and there is free WI FI there too , use of the swimming pool is very cheap too, so the Council there should take advantage and charge for us to be there especially as Portugal's economy is shot.
 
Will it be a Country & Western musik and Oldies night out?? Only asking !!!. Okay, I will get my coat.☺☺☺
