Mr Clickbait, He’s at it again

Probably to do with the amount of Ads they can get into a video Barry, I believe every Ad watched earns more dosh? It really gets on my thrupps when I'm looking for something on Youtube and every time I skip past parts of the vid I have to watch the same Ads over and over again in quick succession!

I only watch Youtube on Brave now to avoid the Ads.
Brave is tops Rob, kids have it also on there mobiles, getting tricky to load it onto linux as it now must be done by code because some uploaders were hiding spyware eithin the load, so linux went code only to be secure.

Why has his phone and laptop been seized I wonder?
Knowing this guy his laptop probably has not been seized Ral, it’s all part of his mantra.
I have had previous with this idiot when he replied to me saying people like me do nothing for our cause. Barry, Rob, and another couple of you put him right on that count, and I really appreciated them doing so.

What really annoyed me here is thanks to Wildebus I am a great fan of Victron gear, and him using them in this manner really annoyed me. As I said I have sent them the video, they will probably just ignore my email, and do nothing, we will see. But I would love it if they threatened him with legal action.

How do you stop Google from sending news/notifications crap to the phone, and how can I get YouTube notifications from the channels I subscribe to, to my email instead of phone notifications?
Buy a pure android ph and install fdroid which is like playstore, you wont have any google cr-p either. or you could buy a fairphone with linux installed.

Thanks Rob just downloaded Brave, looks great.
And thanks for replying to this guy on the Appleby thread, much appreciated. (y)

"If you're not supposed to be here, off is the direction you should f. And then when you've f Ed off, f off a bit more to be sure. "
I swear.... I've only to hear that 'vanl....'

And I can feel the rage building....
The internet has a LOT to answer for....frankly I wouldn't watch a channel with some cocky know it all rattling about his Jackary and how they've decided to become" nomadic cockwombles" and probably go vegan and, just eat dust because they are gluten intolerant....
And how they've' Found themselves ' GREAT....
Now jog on and lose yourself again please.

The one that gets me is hacks it used to be a handy hint or a wee tip but now it’s HACKS and here’s a wee tip if you have Surfshark VPN on a fire stick set the location to Albania it cuts out the advertising on YouTube

Clickbait has become pretty well the norm on YouTube. Theres nothing wrong with trying to promote what you have videoed, so long as it’s based on truth. But this one in my honest opinion is based on a lie, and to add insult to injury he’s also damaging the reputation of Victron in doing so.

I have nothing against folk putting online their travels when they are informative. Prior to travelling to the outer Hebrides this year I watched several videos which helped us to have a good tour. Cameron McNeish has put out some really good videos, particularly the ones where he travels to new Aires in Scotland.
YouTube has some excellent videos, but sadly as time goes on picking out the wheat from the chaff is getting harder.

He replied to my message from this morning to inform me that the director of the CIA was hacked by a 15 year old British kid, he asks me if I reckon his victron has better security …….unbelievable :ROFLMAO:
He hoped me reporting this to victron would go viral :ROFLMAO:

So I had to reply

Your hardly the director of the CIA are you , or Marks and Spencer, Coop, or British airways 😂
Your a wee guy in a roller team Pegaso who tells porkies in order to generate views.
How can something that “Apparantly “ only affected you and no one else go viral.
Nobody else would be stupid enough to compare themselves with the director of the CIA, or claim that their computer has been seized by the police. I don’t know what world you are living in, but it sure ain’t this one, or maybe your Pegaso is some kind of Tardis and your name is Doctor Who😂
Now there’s an idea for your next clickbait. 😂
I sent Victron your version of events this morning, I hope they reckon it’s worth looking into.
But I suspect they have got better things to do than deal with pranksters on YouTube with persecution complex’s.😂

I won’t post again, as I know it adds to your revenue stream.

I watch YouTube a lot, and possibly to excess, as there is a lot of good stuff on there (y)

But .... because there IS so much on there, I have no time to bother with clickbait thumbnails and will click the "not interested" option for that channel if it is within the list of suggested videos. And if the thumbnail passes the test but the content is clickbait, then the same fate befalls that channel :)
May well miss out on some good stuff, but that is ok as still plenty of others to see :D

That term also really hacks me off as well!

Interesting on the Albania VPN setting. I am a Premium YouTube member so don't see any adverts (except those snuck in as part of the video, of course) but main reason for being Premium is to avoid the adverts, so could be a future option ;)

Cracking reply. Seems quite a few conspiracy theorists are drawn to vanlife. (Don't mention 15minute cities or chemtrails).

You can report videos on YT, they might warn them or even take their vidoes down.
