This guy has already been mentioned oh here and some of us pointed out a few facts to him on his channel.

I reckon he may well be in serious bother. He is claiming that after resetting the default 000000 code on his equipment to a random code(s) someone managed to hack his victron equipment and he has been without power due to this for two weeks whilst waiting for a dongle.
HE ALSO CLAIMS THAT VICTRON STATED THIS IS POSSIBLE.
I reckon one of three things happened.
He left the default code.
He changed the code to something simple like 123456 against victrons recommendations.
Or it simply never happened.
I have sent the video to Victron for their perusal, if this is nothing more than lies to get views I hope Victron wipe the floor with mr click bait. This is damaging to Victron, and there is to much of this online. If I am wrong I will apologise, but I am sure yet again this man is a chancer.

Only watched a few seconds of it as he gets on my nerves a bit after the Appleby nonsense.

But, is he talking about the same thing as this;

There are a few good information YouTubers out there but if it’s shocked face or the wifies t1ts on the thumbnail dont click on it

What gets on "my tits" is they are so bloody long and not just motorhome videos. You google "Video showing how to open a door" and someone will have created a 25 minute video of it. YouTube favours lengthy content these days for some reason.

It pays, so why not continue. Someone will watch anyway.
S’not compulsory.
There’s a couple who are veggies, who have built their lifestyle on freebies. I wouldn’t waste my time on watching them either.

Probably to do with the amount of Ads they can get into a video Barry, I believe every Ad watched earns more dosh? It really gets on my thrupps when I'm looking for something on Youtube and every time I skip past parts of the vid I have to watch the same Ads over and over again in quick succession!

I only watch Youtube on Brave now to avoid the Ads.

I try to keep mine short and task related, I don't get millions of hits, but I do have a few subbies.

Is that on a phone or laptop Rob? I Don't ever see ads on youtube in Chrome or edge using the "Adguard" extension but I do on my phone. Never found a way round that. I don't generally watch much on my phone though.

That's on my PC Barry. I've never installed any kind of Ad blocker but it's easier just to open the Brave App when I want to watch Youtube. I very rarely watch anything on the 'phone.

Cue Trev... :ROFLMAO:

How do you stop Google from sending news/notifications crap to the phone, and how can I get YouTube notifications from the channels I subscribe to, to my email instead of phone notifications?

Every once in a blue moon, YouTube work out how to get round whatever ad blocker Brave uses, so there might be a few days, week max where it won't stop ads. Next Brave up date sorts it.
Although, that's at home on desktop through browser. Doesn't seem to happen on phone, guess the app is slightly different.
