does anyone know if the spanish emission zones madrid seville etc apply if your transiting the cities via the motorway not actually visiting? seville for instance cuts off a whole swathe of the country if you can’t travel through , i actually have a german 4 sticker but it was on when i bought the vehicle is it still valid

Can't help with transiting places but my understanding of it is the sticker is valid at the time of issue and will remain so throughout the life of the vehicle.
Of course, once your vehicle has been categorised, it is written in stone... Until the category is shifted to suit the money gathering process, i.e. leccy vehicles will soon have to pay the tax/charge/ransom. I imagine when Khan implements the latest scheme for London there will be a big uptake in number plate sales.

Spanish stickers now available from Correos (post office). 5 euros . Take log book. Not sure on exact areas or if my French sticker is valid in Spain.

This is news to me so checked it out. It affects Seville which we will visit. Also Madrid and Barcelona.

We have a French Class 2 sticker which Spanish websites suggest will be classed by Spanish authorities as equivalent to and as valid as a Spanish Class 2 sticker. However Spanish stickers will not be valid outside Spain.

They also suggest that foreign registered vehicles do not require an environmental sticker.

Please do your own checks on this for reassurance.

The French sticker is valid in Spain. There is a lot of info about the regs etc on the "N332" face book group. As I understand it, you cannot get stickers from the correos for vehicles not registered in Spain. Any corrections gratefully accepted.

Yes. Any sticker issued is valid for the vehicle life irrespective of ownership changes.

If you remove the sticker or have to replace the windscreen you have to obtain a new sticker. It is claimed they are impossible to remove without damaging them to avoid fraudulent use.

We got a new sticker when we changed to Spanish plates. Interestingly we went from 5 on uk plates to 3 on Spanish plates ?

That might not be the case if you're lucky and find the right solvent. The Lockpicking Lawyer did a nice job of getting around a security sticker in one of his videos and I suspect the same trick might work with Crit Aire etc. stickers. No guarantees, however...

Not much point in removing the French sticker as it has the reg number on it along with a bar code....
And as said it's ok for Spain. At least that's my understanding on the Spanish site.
As a add on Gibraltar has new laws on electric scooters...age limit and they are banned from pavements and pedestrian zones.

Better idea is to use clear static cling (like the old tax disc holders) put the sticker onto that and then place in the windscreen, screen gets broken just peel it off and re attach to the new screen.
