Solar and lithium is still largely an aftermarket add-on with most brands.

If i were buying new then it would be a must or they could stick it where the sun dont shine.

Also if you can request it to be factory or dealer fitted they have your leg off on the price. Obviously it should be cheaper that way, but it isn't. Aftermarket fitting is usually considerably cheaper even if you pay someone else to do it. It's a racket for sure.
