can anybody recommend a good wheel clamp for a motorhome? There are so many out there for sale all claiming to be the best its difficult to know what to choose.
Many thanks in advance foe your help

They are all brilliant against casual thiefs and all useless against pros.

I've seen a video of professional caravan thieves. They removed concreted in posts and wheel clamps etc in a few minutes with the right tools.

As Above!

Also, if you want to take them with you they are very heavy............ would act as a deterent though.

There should be no need for wheel clamps on a modern motorhome with an immobiliser fitted. Vehicles made in the last few years are impossible to steal unless you have a key, which is why thieves now break into your house in the hope that your keys are in plain view.

The most popular vehicles for car thieves are old ones with no immobiliser. Unless you have an oldish 'van with no immobiliser I wouldn't waste your money on either a wheel clamp or a steering wheel one either.

Caravans of course are a different matter and are relatively easy to steal, as has already been mentioned. My biggest worry isn't having the 'van stolen, it's having it broken into, which is why I have Fiamma Door Safe locks on every door, visible alarms on each window and stickers on the cab windows that say "This vehicle is alarmed". If they peruse my 'van they tend to move on to one that isn't so well protected.
