Carpet?

It did come with full fitted carpets but we took must of them out apart from the rear lounge and under the front dinette. Michelle reckoned it was a bad idea having carpet outside the bathroom and near the hab door as they would get damp and mucky.

We have a washable bathmat at the hab door, big enough to step in and remove wet boots. Would that be a possible compromise?

To be fair you can take your boots off in the internal step and you can get dried and changed in the bathroom as its huge so IMO the carpet should stay dry and clean but clearly Michelle thinks otherwise and with me on board she might be right. Internals and cleaning are her domain so I have no say.

For the larger-framed gent, the washable mat on the inner step is a carpet offcut; the full-sized mat sits on the same level as the kitchen/bathroom area floor ...
