Hi all.Just insured my motorhome with Danny at AIB.They gave me a great price and were extremely helpful.Money I saved more than covered the cost of joining Wild Camping.Cant be bad.

I know it varies but last year I paid £245 for fully comp inc full Euro breakdown with Safeguard on a 2007 Chausson

Year 2000 Swift Royale 590 £291 with Saga,£159 with AIB for vutually same comprehensive cover.

I pay just under £300 for the same with Safeguard, my problem is my postcode PR1 which they insist is in Preston city centre despite me living over 2 miles away :mad2:

It varies so much due to all the variables, making comparisons between your insurance cost and that of anyone else completely irrelevant.

Looks like we all pay around the same,i choose advance they do 6 months europe others was 2 months,

It's not irrelevent when there is £600 difference between the highest and the lowest for the same cover for the same MH and the same driver though.

AIB quote is £20 less so hardly earth shattering ,I tend to think i will stay with comfort as they seem to be held in high regard in these matters

I have the same problem. We had our van insured at our daughters who lives nearer the town centre DL3, but when we gave up full timing we got a house right on the outskirts in a small village but it shares the post code for the town centre DL1 and the premium went up.
