Some routes like the Isle of Man ones have a monopoly and appear to charge accordingly!
Three years ago I did a road trip in my trusty Land Rover to Austria!
Douglas to Heysham boat Landy + Driver £360 return, Crossing time 4hrs
Hull to Rotterdam Landy + driver + passenger + Cabin + Dinner and breakfast £420 return, crossing time 8 hrs
In their defence the Stem Packet have now been taken over by another finance company and this year for one week only the issued a for friends and family 50% discount code for travel booked that week as long as travel was completed before the 31st of December 2012 .
If they do it again I will post it on here.
