Cruiser/custom ?

Nice bike and the pic looks like its taken on the Brecon beacons ?
I converted one of these for my mate who was emmigrating to Ireland, done it in a weekend...made into a Trike and properly too,except....it went backwards :D had to quickly rejig and turn the Ford axle upside down, sorted (in a weekend) those were the days...;)
I am looking for something a little bigger,to swap for one of my properties in Bulgaria,i have a Suzi 800 chop here now but tinkering for a beastie.

I'm interested, looking at where you are its about 90 miles away  bit far for my 125 to make it. Will have to see if I can borrow one of the daughters cars & arrange to have a look at it.
Perhaps I can give you a call on your PMMS phone number for a chat about it if thats ok?

At the moment life's a bit hetic, youngest daughter getting married two weeks today, hence I have plenty of time as I have to keep out of the way. On the upside after the wedding we will have a car for a couple of weeks while they go off on their honeymoon

BTW do I need to bring a Hoover or will a brush & dust pan be enough, suppose it depends on how big the 'ball of dust is'

must say dont fancy bulgaria too cold in winter .think i prefer africa to bulgaria.
nice trikes proff ,do think i may have to trike my drifter .i wear leg calipers and it is getting too heavy.
or do i finish the vw trike in my garage ?
have lots of fun enjoy the sunny weather ,summer is coming.
cheers alan.
ps .any body thinking of building a vw trike let me know i used to build lots ,have aluminium tanks and stainless exhausts and lots of bits cluttering things here .still have the original moulds for the kernow trike body shells. forks tyres etc.

House for bike ?

Cool, fellow Trike builders AND wildcampers,i've built many a chop and Trike over the years, and i suppose your right about Bulgaria in the winter,it does get cold for a month, the other three months of winter are like the UK's,then its sunshine and hot till November again,so great biking country, some roads can be rather dubious, better with an off-roader but still good, couldn't ride my ' hardtail ' over here.
I'd like to know where i could(other than Bulgaria) swap a bike for a house and land, have the benefits of the EU and have good weather for 8 months, but i dont think it would or ever could be Africa ?and Africa is a little more than 3 hours flight time or 3 days driving (2000 miles) why Africa ?
