Motor Home Windows

It could be a line code, plant code or even a date code it's only 4 digits so may not be that important.

In many cases there are a lot of numbers and letters on windows

These details are classification numbers and do not give any information about the window.
Maybe not but it is what I used to find it:unsure:

Try Magnum motorhomes, I bought four polyplastic windows from them a couple of years ago for a good price at the time.

Just to update everyone.
We have now located and ordered our new windows for the Burstner.
We have ordered them from a place called Camper UK based in Lincoln who are a Burstner Dealer.
It has worked out cheaper than going to Eeco windows and we do not have to send our windows away while we wait for the new ones.
The window fastener part is within the laminated window so another reason we went with proper Burstner windows.
After a bit of bartering about the price we agreed on an acceptable amount.
Thank you to everyone for their help and ideas.

sounds good.
New windows are pricey, so you may well be able to sell the old ones to someone who needs some and is willing to compromise on the condition?

Parts fetch good money, when our Bessie got banged up a couple of years ago it had three new Seitz window panes fitted, I've sold two old for good money and still have one left to go, a but scratched but easy to polish out, I just need to get a few pictures of it for ebay.

I have four long arm mirrors to flog too, <06

Hi,
A few years ago whebn I was cleaning the kitchem window it came apart in my hands ( de laminated). So we super glued it together. We could do this because the inner pane was still attatched to the top. Unfortunately, it came apart again but luckly while it was stationary again. The problem this time is that the inner pane has actually broken away from the top as well.

We have sent the details from the window to different manufacturers and they are no longer available. The option of buying second hand would be ok if we could find one but prefer to buy new as you could end up with the same problem after a short time.

Is that a “Polyplastic” “roxite” sticker in the top right hand corner?

The main U.K. supplier of Polyplastic used to be DJ Russell at Burton on Trent but I’m struggling to find current info.
you could try contacting https://www.lippertcomponents.eu/contact Who now seem to be the main manufacturer/supplier.

Alternatively, if all else failed, I used to use EECO at Shelf, Halifax. Not a cheap option but often the only choice! They made windows to pattern, even when stuck together with parcel tape!
Be sure to remove any fittings for use on the replacement! They can be contacted at sales@eeco-uk-ltd.co.uk

HTH.

Apologies, I also would not call £700 cheap. But for a 1984 Eriba Puck rear window I found £125 very cheap, I was pleasantly surprised. Although that price was a significant drop from their original quote. I think they assume you are making an insurance claim, so it drops when you say you aren't, then when you turn up with cash and don't want a receipt, it might drop again.
