Hi
I have my single bike trailer for sale, it has a galvanised chassis and loading ramp, the tyres are very good and even has a spare wheel with it which also has good tyre tread.
I have carried my 320kgs Yamaha Diversion 900 bike on it with ease, loading single handed and then towing easily behind my MH...
It has plenty of tie down brackets, it is a purpose built trailer and looks a proper job, I have fitted a new jockey wheel on it to make it easy to hook up when the bike is loaded..

I paid a lot more than I want for it, but would like to see it go so I'm selling for £150 for a quick cash sale...

Send me mesages or call at resonable hours on 07747 794187
If it doesn't go to someone on here then it will go on fleabay for a higher starting price.:scooter::scooter:
Cheers
Dave

First of all, I'm not interested in purchasing, don't have a MC anymore. Thought I would mention, selling price is a bargain. I use to make them, so have a good idea of cost. Someone should bite your hand off at this price!!
I have to agree, if I was home instead of in France I would have bought it even though I don't have a MC either, we are looking at alternatives to the car we tow and this would have helped us in our decisions, good luck with the sale

I'm Interested!

Hi Devadave!

I'm interested (though would have to have a think about when I could make the trip up to M-side from SW Wales to fetch tbh).

Any chance of a piccie ;)?

DOH! Just spotted the picture in the corner.

It was great meeting you and having a chat... good luck and I will look forward to seeing your posting, think there is quite a lot of us bikers and Motorhomers on here!
:have fun:

Thanks Dave, uneventful drive back home and delighted with the trailer its excellent

Pleasure to meet you and the missus, thanks for the tea

Jim

Those tie down straps look the the D B's, not loading up the suspension. I used to loop a ratchet strap around the tyre, where did you get those from? Maybe I'll make some.

Alas, had 3 Blades, but no longer... :( But recently bought a Porsche for a few track days :D It must be old age

Honda PCX in the MoHo garage does need a quick, fast and easy strap down, but the side mounted engine/drive may inhibit using them, will investigate further, with the ratchet pulling the bike down into the front wheel chock is ideal.

Boxer - Motorohome
Boxster - Car
Similar, but somewhat different

Yeah did like them, I have a similar design to the bike chock called bike grab, when I had a stealth van,,,,,bike in back and mattress and no missus!

Taking my ninja and my lads Ducati on our holiday to Gorge De Verdan or Ardeche or or or...;)....no wives! Happy days

IMG_2429.jpgpan.jpgNerd alert!!!

Very pleased with the trailer I bought on this thread. However I couldn't help myself but interfere with something that was perfectly fine in the first place

Progress so far is above left. My cute little Pan is on right

Excellent workmanship from Bruce the boat at our the Marina with a constantly evolving specification.

It started with boxing the back in to provide a walking platform to make it really easy when loading the bike.

Got rid of the hinged ramp and made it detachable and mounted it on the frame to give more space

I wanted a leaning post to steady the bike whilst I strapped it down once loaded

I wanted a custom made accessories box and Bruce did this and made it with the lid doubling as the leaning platform.

Fitted new wheels (its cheaper to buy wheels with tyres than just tyres) also added a pneumatic jockey wheel to the front and stabilisers at the rear.

Ally foot plate for the walk on areas

Next is a permanent lighting unit and number plate
Will be painting the frame Hammerite blue

Its so light can still easily lift the trailer up with one hand

Will be trying out a fitting for the bike later this week

Its going to be Fab way to tow the bike behind the camper first big trip will be the forum trip to Brin near Inverness for midsummer day party, staying up there for a week and will tour around

Cant wait!!

Took the Pan out for a trial drive around on the trailer that we have been building for it today. Been to busy working and also riding the bike.

A mixture of dirt roads (I live down a non tarmacked lane) and country roads and then at speed down A roads

Please to say, bike was as steady as a rock.

The plan is to tour around with the Campervan and use the bike for local sight seeing.

A few minor mods to do, but still very pleased with it
