Hardly a surprise is it?

There's no means of enforcing it due to lack of resources. Even in the days of the disc I reported a couple of cars near me that appeared to have been dumped and with out-of-date tax.

DVLA weren't interested and referred me to the local council. The local council weren't interested and told me to advise DVLA!

It was at least 6 months before the cars were removed ...

Thought the whole point of the ANPR cameras which are everywhere,was to detect the untaxed vehicle and send the fine to the registered keeper,automatically,with no need for human input.Something smells in Denmark,as the saying goes.
