We use a fair bit. As I sit writing this, the small heater has been running half an hour. Our 70 litre tank lasts about a month or so in a typical winter, rather longer out of the heating season. For the amount we tend to use of LPG it often isn’t worth bothering trying to search for somewhere cheaper, just being able to get it without a fuss is fine for me.
When we refill it is usually 30 or 40 litres or more, though sometimes we top up a smaller amount.
With prices varying by almost £1 per litre, it is well worth topping up if you pass a cheap price, and it can justify a small diversion at times.
