No I don't want one - I've got one. The front offside of my motor has become waterlogged over the last two weeks and is starting to get a bit spongy. Obviously I will rip it all out, find and stop the leak then renew the parts I need. The problem I will have is replacing the wallpaper. Does anyone know who might stock similar paper for a 1993 Hymer? I've checked out local DIY shops but nothing matches.

I have managed to match old papers by going to our local decorators merchants and getting out the old books. It may take a while as there are a lot of books and all several inches thick.

Try Park and Leisure ltd or Static caravan spares. (same company) Can recommend them only downside is you have 3 metres Minimum. Hope this helps. Jim

Well having started stripping everything back I may well need 3 metres. I'm going to have to take off the drop down bed by the looks of things - too much carpet and leatherette covering the problem areas. I may even have to take the side window out but hopefully not. The leak appears to be from near the roof where the fibreglass front meets the body.

Despite the amount of work you have in front of you, maybe a change of all wall paper could be the answer, and give your motorhome a fresh new look. :goodluck:

Take a look at this site Static Caravan Spare Parts - Wallboards , Wallpaper and Matching Trims

or, as a decorator, I would suggest that you use a wide width vinyl paper, such as you see in offices, banks etc. The most common one goes under the name of Muraspec Wallcoverings: Distinctive Wallcoverings, Bespoke Modern Designs and it comes in an untrimmed width of around 130cm and must be stuck on with ready-mixed tub paste like Solvite.
