Just back from the Morayvia aerospace museum in Kinloss. This is a small volunteer museum, and well worth a visit. The highlight and the best part are the retired pilots who are there, and they are keen to talk to you about what’s on display. We chatted for half an hour with a retired sea king helicopter pilot. A great day out and at only £8 entry fee a real bargain. Plenty of parking for your van.

Many happy memories of Vampires flying from raf llambedr as a kid on camping trips to Shell island....

And meteors/Canberras/ jindiviks etc etc
 
If it is mostly RNAS kit then it could be a Sea Vixen (Carrier borne equivalent of the Vampire).
Vampire was single engined

Sea vixen slightly larger twin engined
Easily identified by the extra continuations of the twin tail structures over the wings.
