Check your small print as mine was only covered if it was stolen or damaged in or on the property was not covered if stolen while travelling until I put on as a specified extra.

It seems to be well covered, the same as our electric bikes. If I had a mobility scooter I would check with them to make sure. It also has generous contents cover for when we are travelling and covers contents the motorhome insurance does not. We found it cheaper to buy better contents cover than to insure the electric bikes on bike policies.

My wife knocked someone over on her 4 mph scooter , made me realise that it could be very serious and expensive if it had been somone else and not me she hit . Insurance was taken out ASAP..
