I only use mobile wifi when motorhomeing, not enough to warrant a mobile contract. 3 offer a sim with 12gb for £30 which will last a year.

I was really lucky and got the three "internet with legs" offer on Amazon when it was £28 for 24gb lasting two years! Wish I had bought two as they are no longer available at that price!

I bought one with 12GB from MyMemory for £23.

We used it extensively in the Ipad in France for four weeks this April and did emails, Farcebook, Google maps, forums and loads more stuff and it used around 6GB in the 28 days away.

We didn't need to find hotspots or a McD to get the internet and, in my opinion, it's well worth the cost.

Been using the Three prepaid data sims for a while now and they`ve been great both here in the UK and abroad however ...............

Earlier this year in France i found the speed drastically reduced and the data went a lot faster than it used to do :mad2:

I only use it for general email ( no photo / picture sending ), light surfing and having a quick look at our POI`s but this time i went through 2GB in no time :scared:

Do you need an Ipad that takes a sim card for this to work? Or can you put the sim in an IPhone and use it as a hotspot for an Ipad?
