Mk3 Transit Bus

This is my 1987 Transit bus that i have simply turned into a day van/wild camper.
She is a twin wheel long wheel base model with a 2.0 petrol OHC engine(pinto).
Cosmetically she needs some work but underneath she is sound.She puts a lot of Transits half her age to shame.

The main thing is that it works for you. There's a lot to be said for keeping stuff simple.

I bet you attract a lot of flying bugs, especially during harvest time.Years ago we had an orange VW,that turned nearly black when parked near a field being harvested.

The van looks like bt yellow before they painted them grey

It does look like the old buzby yellow vans It's actually Ford saffron Yellow.Common colour on mk1 escorts & mk3 Cortinas

Yes it's been covered in little black beetles the last week )
