I was just looking around on the internet and came across this... I have always liked small vans such as the Romahome but this little mini wildgoose looks amazing. From what i have read about it there was only about 100 of these made in the 60s and now only about 10 in existence now.
Would be cool if a manufacturer came up with the new shape mini and made it into a camper....here are some pics i found of it...

mini wildgoose

Used to work on one of these for a customer when we had the garage business, quite a few years ago now but it eventually began to suffer from the usual mini underbody rot and he sold it to a guy from abroad , Netherlands i think who already had one.
To raise the body you had to insert a handle and wind up the body for a few inches and then an electric motor raised it the rest of the way with a rather jerky movement. Always got a crowd round to watch it in action i hope it was'nt used as a doner vehicle

I have owned about 8 mini's in my time true the sub frames rotted but they were not that expesive to repair or replace...but there has always been something about the mini i have liked. The simplicity of the car and repairs were not hard for anyone to do....

bl**dy hell, i remember trucks without power steering, When shunting, you had to stand up to turn the wheel:(
i understand 8 leggers were the worst, but i never had a play:dance:

do have a spinal problem so it is uncomfortable
