That’s true when in crowded areas etc, at racing circuits with a big crowd 4g is often faster than 5g simply because everyone is on 5g and therefore the 4g network is not so crowded.I use a teltonika in van but, I also have a iphone and find if you disable 5G you get a far more reliable service and fewer dropouts, just saying.
Wish I hadn’t looked that upWhy do I keep reading the title of this thread as 'Milf help and suggestions'?
Found this recently on a Nighthawk that I fitted - both me and the owner, but the reason might actually be not what you expect ....I've just purchased a used, but looks new Nighthawk M2 M2100 router. It's working fine but the Nighthawk app. on my tablet says my device is not supported. Anybody else had this problem? I think it may be because my android tablet is only version 7.1.1 ,but not that techy to be honest.
No, I checked that. It did connect to home network initially but I connected to router and all good except for the App. issue.Found this recently on a Nighthawk that I fitted - both me and the owner, but the reason might actually be not what you expect ....
What you need to do is make sure the Tablet is actually connected to the router! If it decided to reconnect to another network - maybe your home one? - automatically you probably won't notice that happened, but when you run the App, it may not tell you it is not a Netgear Nighthawk you are connected to, but just gives the message you are getting.
It gives the appearance the problem is with the App, but it is most likely you are just not connected to it![]()
Ah well. The other thing I noticed was there are two different Netgear Apps - try installing a different one? We did certainly connect successfull once on the right network! No, I checked that. It did connect to home network initially but I connected to router and all good except for the App. issue.
good stuff. could you post the model of your Lenovo tablet please? interested as I may have occasion to get the Netgear app again and I also have 2 Lenovo tablets myself. Thanks for the suggestions. Solved it. I deleted the Netgear App. I had downloaded from Playstore and went to download it direct from Netgear website. It then told me incompatible with my Lenovo tablet (old android version now unsupported). It was however OK on my Motorola G7 phone, so all good now. You are correct, there are 2 versions of the App. All a bit confusing.
No problem, it's the TB-X704F. It's been faultless, but the cheeky buggers pulled support a year after I bought it and they were still selling them new then. It's last Android security patch was in October 2018.good stuff. could you post the model of your Lenovo tablet please? interested as I may have occasion to get the Netgear app again and I also have 2 Lenovo tablets myself.
