We're off to France mid Nov until mid Feb, can anyone tell if there is a French substitute for this site ,,,

This is the one I use for the uk, also covers Europe, Does, wind speed, temp, weather, visibility and pressure, it gets its data from the met office.

i use weather.co.uk. you can input any location worldwide, i use the ten day forecast, its normally reliable

Another vote for AccuWeather, gives you hourly forecasts.

Windfinder - wind, wave & weather reports, forecasts & statistics worldwide is pretty good too. We use it often onboard ship. Usually better than the RN Met forecasts...

We also use JOMOC - but that's not available to the public lol
